Local Global Ed Resources

While rural Nebraska may not have a lot of diversity and access to global resources, we do have more than I realized when I began exploring global education ideas. These organizations can assist with resources, partnerships, and connections.

Global Education in Nebraska

Malaika
Malaika Foundation is an organization for global education in Nebraska. The site contains resources and information about global education, as well as travel grant opportunities.
Multicultural Coalition
Multicultural Coalition of Grand Island is a community organization serving Central Nebraska.
UNK
UNK Office of Diversity and Inclusion has great resources and connections for University of Nebraska at Kearney students. The various student groups listed may also be open to collaboration with local K-12 schools.
Global Nebraska
Global Nebraska at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln is for UNL students, but also contains resources that can be valuable to high school students planning for their global futures.
